The Watchguard alarm is a complete stand-alone security system, which is ideal for the home or business owner wanting an affordable security system without the labour of hard wired installation. If the alarm is triggered a built-in strobe and siren will sound for 5 min. Included is a bonus screecher siren with 10M of cable to connect to the base unit. This siren generates an intolerable noise to repel intruders from inside the property. Two wireless PIR body heat detectors are included, expandable to an additional 6 units (available separately). Battery life is around 3 years. The range for each zone is 10 metres from the central unit. Arm/disarmed by convenient key-fob code-hopping UHF remote controls. The Watchguard is secure, very reliable, economical and extremely easy to install & operate.
