- Designed for large mains, switchboard and power-distribution terminations
- Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated and proven de-energised. Scratch-brush the aluminium conductor, use the specified ECW-3D4/500AL crimp die, crimp from the palm towards the barrel, and follow the applicable installation and crimping requirements of AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 4325.1.
- Large aluminium mains cable terminations
- Electrical switchboards and distribution boards
- Power-distribution equipment
- Industrial electrical installations
- Busbar and terminal connections using M12 mounting studs
- AS/NZS 4325.1 for compression connectors and cable lugs
- Aluminium is highly recyclable and can be recovered at end of product life
- Durable forged construction supports extended service life and reduces replacement waste
- Low-resistance termination design can help minimise connection losses and associated energy wastage
- Pre-filled jointing compound helps protect the connection against oxidation and premature failure
