Professional Installation Requirements
  • Installation, wiring, commissioning and testing must be performed by a licensed electrical contractor. The changeover arrangement should be designed and installed in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 3010, including correct neutral treatment, source isolation, generator interlocking and prevention of back-feed. Type A controllers do not provide generator-control or fire-fighting feedback functions.
