Professional Installation Requirements
  • Installation, commissioning and testing must be performed by a licensed electrical contractor. The mains, generator, neutral switching, protection, earthing and control wiring must be designed and installed in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 3010, with the generator isolated from the utility supply to prevent backfeed.
