  • Friction-welded aluminium-to-copper transition designed to resist electrolysis
  • Pre-filled with jointing compound to support reliable conductor contact
  • Suitable for circular or sector-stranded aluminium cable to circular stranded copper cable
  • Designed for crimped cable jointing using compatible tooling
  • Manufactured from high-purity conductive materials
Professional Installation Requirements
  • Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or suitably qualified cable jointer. Prepare conductors and complete the required aluminium and copper crimps using the specified dies and manufacturer-approved hydraulic tooling. Follow AS/NZS 4325.1 and the cable manufacturer's jointing instructions.
Applications
  • Low-voltage electrical distribution cable jointing
  • In-line transition from aluminium cable to copper cable
  • Switchboard, transformer and electrical infrastructure connections
  • Industrial and commercial power cable installations
Standards & Compliance
  • AS/NZS 4325.1: Compression and mechanical connectors for power cables with copper or aluminium conductors
  • IEC 61238-1: Compression and mechanical connectors for power cables
Environmental Benefits
  • Aluminium and copper components are recyclable at end of service life
  • Friction-welded construction and resistance to electrolysis can extend connection service life and reduce replacement waste
  • Enables practical use of aluminium conductors where copper termination or continuation is required, potentially reducing material cost and conductor mass
