Key Features
  • Connects sector-shaped aluminium cable to copper cable
  • Designed for 4-core cable jointing applications
  • Friction-welded aluminium-to-copper transition provides a mechanically and electrically sound connection
  • Chemically treated aluminium barrel helps reduce corrosion and contact resistance
  • Pre-filled jointing compound helps limit aluminium oxide formation
  • Suitable for installation with standard Australian compression tooling
  • Capped barrel helps protect the jointing compound before installation
Professional Installation Requirements
  • Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or suitably qualified cable jointer using the specified compression tooling and manufacturer installation procedure. Verify crimp die selection, conductor preparation and crimp sequence before energising the circuit.
Applications
  • Joining 4-core sector-shaped aluminium power cable to copper cable
  • Low-voltage electrical power distribution
  • Underground power cable jointing
  • Switchboard, distribution board and transformer cable connections
  • Commercial, industrial and infrastructure electrical installations
Standards & Compliance
  • AS/NZS 4325 Part 1
Environmental Benefits
  • Aluminium and copper construction provides recyclable materials at end of service life
  • Friction-welded construction and corrosion-resistant treatment can extend connection service life and reduce replacement waste
  • Low-resistance electrical connection can help minimise avoidable energy losses in the connected system
