Magnetic-only protection does not provide overload, phase-loss or phase-unbalance protection, so motor applications require suitable thermal overload protection and coordinated contactor equipment. Verify fault levels, discrimination, cable capacity, trip settings and switchboard requirements in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 and applicable electrical regulations.
