Professional Installation Requirements
  • Installation, adjustment and testing must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with AS/NZS 3000 and the manufacturer’s instructions. Magnetic-only protection does not provide overload protection; motor applications require a correctly selected thermal overload relay or equivalent overload protection and coordinated contactor arrangement. Verify prospective fault current, discrimination, cable ratings, clearances, enclosure suitability and Australian regulatory requirements before commissioning.
