Professional Installation Requirements
  • Installation and cabinet assembly must be completed by suitably qualified electrical and UPS personnel. The battery bank contains hazardous DC voltage and high prospective short-circuit current; installation, isolation, commissioning and testing should follow the UPS manufacturer's instructions, AS/NZS 3000 and AS 3011.2. PSS states that hardwired products must be commissioned by an approved and authorised PSS technician or contractor for warranty validity.

Warranty Information

PSS Distributors' standard warranty is a 2-year return-to-base warranty from the original purchase date, subject to installation, operating and maintenance conditions. Batteries must be operated within their technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines; warranty exclusions apply for incorrect installation, storage, modification, misuse or failure to recharge stored batteries at least every three months.
