TLON is a local network that uses LonWorks® technology.
The FT512 control units are connected to the TLON network with a built in module, the TLON connection board 1590. Up to 30 nodes (i.e. FT512 c.i.e:s) can be connected to a TLON Network. One of the nodes can bean external PC with a software driver for a Security Management system, which gives full control of and access to all data in all FT512 connected to the network.
Firetracker FT1020G3 is an intelligent analogue addressable fire system, conforming to the AS7240.2 Control and Indicating Equipment, AS7240.4 Power Supply and AS4428.3 - 2010 Fire Brigade Panel standards. FT1020G3 is the third generation of Brooks intelligent analogue addressable systems. It meets the most stringent requirements in order to secure real fire alarms and to reduce nuisance alarms.
Description
Firetracker FT128V2 is an intelligent analogue addressable fire alarm system, conforming to the AS7240-2 Control and Indicating Equipment, AS7240-4 Power Supply, AS4428.3 Fire Brigade Panel standards and NZS4512. It meets the most stringent requirements in order to secure real fire alarms and to reduce nuisance alarms.
Each fan control module consists of a universal I/O matrix PCB specifically configured for fan control applications. Programming is simplified through the Win512 configuration software.
The External Presentation Unit 1728 is a compact sized enclosure rated to IP61 (if fitted with the supplementary “O” ring gasket). The unit is intended for pre-warning, co-incidence, fire (and heavy smoke/heat) alarm presentation. If there are two or more alarms in the system, the operator can scroll amongst them but the alarms cannot be reset via this unit. There is no front panel door which means the unit can be accessed directly when required. The push buttons are disabled until they are supposed to be used.
In each control unit there can be, in total, up to six expansion boards of all types mounted.
Up to six 1580 boards can be used.
Each board has to be programmed (Win512) regarding: - Address - Address is set with jumpers on the board
This board has eight inputs for conventional zone lines.
In the last unit on each zone line an end-of-line resistor (4K7) has to be connected.
Up to TWO 1587 boards can be used.
Because of high components on the board, a 1587 board always has to be mounted "on top".
Each board has to be programmed (Win512) regarding:- Address (= set with jumpers on the board, i.e. 0 or 1)- Name (Default is DU 1587, which is normally not changed)
This board is an interface only for Presentation unit 1728 and Alert annunciation Units 1736 running in S/W mode 2.3.2 or greater
The data rate in this mode is 9600 baud.
The theoretical number of units that can be connected to the board is sixteen but it is depending on the type and the number of the units respectively, the cable type and length, etc.
Web-Server II has a plastic cabinet, which is vertically mounted on a symmetric 35mm Din Rail. Web-Server shall be mounted inside FT512 or FT128 cabinets. A cable and accessories kit for both systems is supplied with the Web-Server II
The Zone Control Module provides a simplified indication of zone status without the need for a liquid crystal display. The disable control allows a specific zone to be temporarily disabled without the need to access the CIE menu. This is typically used where building works or maintenance procedures are being carried out in a localised area of a building.
The system performance has been approved to the equipment standards, while the system features exceeds the normal fire protection applications.
The system is capable of providing the following functions within its architecture.
• Pleasant and rigid design
• High intensity LEDs to increase the illumination
• Enclosure may be used for single or dual sign
• An external Brooks audio horn or speaker can be used utilising the same warning signs wiring.
• Built in speaker module with Alert/Evac tones and gaseous extinguishing messages
• Built in countdown timer module for gas release
• Dimensions 380mm x 200mm x 60mm
• Changeable tones for Australia and New Zealand use
The Brooks Occupant Warning System (OWS) is capable of providing reliable audio and visual warnings to the building occupants via speakers and strobes in emergency conditions. The system can be either a standalone control panel or inside a fire panel enclosure.
A Brooks OWS inside a fire panel enclosure may or may not has the power supply monitoring board, the AC/DC power supply and the backup batteries, which depends on the fire panel power supply capacity and the application requirements.
The Brooks series of remote desk microphones are intended for public address use in conjunction with the Brooks OWS (Occupant Warning Systems).
Available in 3 models, single zone (PA-1), 8 zone (PA-8) and 16 zone (PA-16) the Brooks range of remote desk microphones are elegantly styled in a rugged metal enclosure providing excellent stability for desk top applications – no annoying slippage. In addition the Brooks units provide excellent speech intelligibility for all public address applications.
In addition to the all call the PA-8 & PA-16 allows for individual zone selection for any zone or any combination of zones. The PA microphone range also features for background music (BGM) a line input socket and music input enable control.
Designed specifically to detect smoke within Electrical Switchboards
The Brooks Firetracker FT1-SB Door Mounted Single Zone Conventional Fire Panel will Signal, Isolate and Communicate when it detects the presence of smoke within your electrical switchboard.
The Alarm 2000 is designed for small residential occupancies requiring a smoke alarm system as set out in the Building Code of Australia, but also integrates the early warning with other building services. The system employs the design principles of AS1670 but utilises the cost effectiveness of smoke alarms, with their combination of detection and warning sounder. The basic Alarm 2000 system can be customised and expanded to suit individual applications by the use of optional add-on modules.
The typical application for the Brooks Interlinkerator BLINK-240 is a block of units where Brooks’s 240V smoke/heat alarm system is installed in the individual units and a commercial fire system is installed in the common areas such as hallways car parks, etc.
The External Power Supply 3366 consists of a rectifier (the main power source) and a charger board mounted in a grey metal housing, which also has space for two maintenance-free sealed Lead-Acid backup batteries, rated 12 V, 6.5-7.5 Ah (the second power source). Larger batteries (up to 60 Ah) have to be placed outside the housing. The unit is connected to a COM loop. It is monitored from the c.i.e. and e.g. loss of the main power source (230 V AC) will generate a fault in the c.i.e. There are cable inlets on the top, bottom and back sides of the housing and two compression glands are attached. The 3366 unit is used in the systems firetracker 512 & 128 when an external power supply monitored from the c.i.e. is required.
• Test key for routine testing without breaking the glass element
• Built-in short-circuit isolator
• Protection against accidental operation
• Attractive design & Built-in short-circuit isolator. IP rating IP56
• The multi detector contains one photo-electric (optical) smoke detector and one heat detector within the low profile housing

Used for COM loop address and mode settings
The addressable 2 voltage output unit 3364 (AOU) is intended to be surface mounted. A plastic protection cover (with 10 cable inlets) is supplied. The 3364 can be mounted in a waterproof box (3362). The unit is connected to a COM loop and requires an external 24V DC power supply (3366). The unit has 14 screw terminals for cable connections. The 3364 unit is intended for indoor use and for dry environments (if not the waterproof box is used). It can be DIN rail mounted with help of a DIN rail interface kit 3363.
