The EIB605CRF supports wired and wireless interconnection of up to 12 smoke alarms and 8 Remote Control devices.

Description

The EIB605MRF is an optional add-on RadioLINK module for EIB605C RadioLINK compatible smoke Alarms or EIB603C Heat Alarms.

The optional RadioLINK module simply plugs into the back of the EIB605C/EIB603C allowing wireless interconnection of up to 12 RadioLINK ready Alarms.

The EIB605MRF module is powered by the replaceable alkaline battery in the Alarm.

The Ei207 Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm is supplied with replaceable AAA batteries. The alarm has a high performance, proven electrochemical sensor to sense CO presence.

The Ei208W Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm is supplied with a powered-for-life sealed lithium battery.

The alarm has a high performance, proven electrochemical sensor to sense CO presence. The sensor is individually calibrated and tested in Carbon Monoxide (CO) gas to ensure accuracy. The memory feature records the last CO alarm level and can be useful to check if CO has been present while the home owner or tenant has been absent from the property.

The EI208DW Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm is supplied with a powered-for-life sealed lithium battery and an RF interconnect module.

Using the unique house code feature, an interconnected system will sound all alarms when one detects CO.

CO is a particularly insidious gas; you can’t see it, taste it or smell it, but it is potentially lethal. The need for a reliable mains powered detector that will operate even in the event of a mains failure is universally recognised. Until now this kind of detector has relied upon a battery back-up, provided by removable household batteries. Now for the first time it is available with secure 10 year technology rechargeable lithium cells, cells that can’t be removed and used in other appliances, cells that have been designed to outlast the life of the alarm. The 260 Series alarms use the latest generation proven electrochemical cell CO sensor which checks CO concentration every 80 seconds. All units are individually calibrated and tested in CO in order to ensure accuracy and peak performance.

The sensor module can be replaced quickly and easily after 5 years. It simply clips into the back of the alarm and does not require an electrician.

Description

The primary function of the controller is to facilitate easy and frequent testing of the alarm system when in standby mode. When the system is in alarm the EIB450 provides the following control functions:

• Isolate the source alarm by silencing all the other alarms in the system. This is known as the Locate function.
• Silence all the alarms in the system for a period of 10 minutes.
• The control feature allows the home owner to quickly establish if there is a real alarm situation and take the appropriate action.
• The EIB450 is also fitted with Fire and CO warning icons to indicate the source of the alarm in real time or memory.
